Over the past few weeks we have been digging through tons of inspiration pictures and narrowing down some of the top design trends we foresee happening in 2017. We thought it would be fun to do a blog series on them all since there is just too much to love about each trend! So to kick off our trend series we are sharing all about Natural Elements!

We’ve been seeing a lot of organic elements in interior spaces spaces lately and we absolutely LOVE IT! Just walk down the isles of an home store and you’ll see the shelves flooded with natural wood furniture, marble accessories, potted succulents, and woven baskets. Incorporating natural inspired elements into any space helps bring the outside in and creates a soothing atmosphere that is both classic and inviting. Here’s a look at some of our favorite spaces with natural elements.

From the wooden coffee table, woven chairs, and fresh green branches, this space is packed full of nature! From Studio Mcgee

The fresh cut wood logs, mantle, and woven basket gallery create a warm and inviting feel in this bright and airy family room. From House of Jade

This reclaimed wood paneling has been a huge hit with our clients. We love that it has a subtle gray undertone so it coordinates with everything and creates a huge statement in any space! From New South Home

Indoor plants and trees bring the outside in and add the perfect pop of color. We love how the trees are flanked on the sides of the fireplace to add some height in this coastal inspired living room! From Atlanta Homes

Marble is another classic natural texture. Every piece of it is unique and provides a neutral jumping off point for any design style. One of the best parts about marble is that it can be used for so many different surfaces such as both the counter top and backsplash in this GORGEOUS kitchen!

Potted plants or succulents are an easy way to add some nature to any space. In this dining room design we incorporated faux boxwoods for a center piece to create a more inviting atmosphere and add some color to pop against the neutral color scheme.

Natural woven rugs have come a long way over the past few years! They are available in so many different patterns and colors that coordinate with any style. A few years ago we worked on a coastal dining room and a natural woven rug was just the thing we needed to add some warmth and texture to the space. From New South Home

We’ve seen a big trend in incorporating reclaimed beams into interiors, especially with the inspiration we all get from Fixer Upper! This dining space is perfectly rustic with it’s natural industrial beams, wooden logs and weathered flooring.
